Caleb has grown up surrounded by all things real estate, with his father Peter enjoying a successful 30-year career in residential sales.

From delivering flyers and being surrounded by property magazines and listing cards in the back seat of the car, Caleb has followed in his father's footsteps to continue a proud family tradition of dedication and service to others. A real estate journey that started assisting his father while studying law and political science, has now seen Caleb create his very own boutique real estate agency.

In 2023, Caleb partnered with Ownly to establish Griffioen, to further enhance the service he provides to his clients. Griffioen and Ownly offer the best tech tools and marketing strategies in the business. It’s a lean operation with low overheads, meaning those savings can be shared with his clients.

Compassionate, understanding and a true problem solver, Caleb is a firm believer in providing a bespoke service. By working with a comparatively low number of listings at any one time, he is committed to providing a high level of attention to every property transaction.

Jonathan Borck

Sales Associate 

Originally from Brazil, Jonathan brings a calm, practical presence to the team — with a background in construction, painting and decorating, and a sharp eye for renovation potential.

His entry into real estate began with his first flipping project, which quickly sparked a passion for property. Now, he works closely with Caleb to host viewings and open homes, follow up with buyers, and help convert interest into offers. Friendly and thoughtful, he’s great at connecting with people and giving sellers clear, honest feedback throughout the process.

Jonathan lives in the Selwyn District with his partner and school-age daughter. He’s a keen barbecuer (your go-to guy if you want to talk steak), and also enjoys football, poker nights, and exploring the South Island on weekends.

Allanah Cosgrove

Sales & Marketing Coordinator 

Allanah is Caleb’s second set of eyes and hands — keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly. From scheduling open homes to preparing paperwork and making sure your campaign is ready to go, she’s the one quietly making it all happen.

With over six years of experience in real estate marketing and admin, she brings sharp systems know-how, attention to detail, and a calm, can-do attitude to every campaign.

Based in Christchurch’s eastern suburbs, Allanah lives with her husband and young daughter. She’s got a strong sense of community, actively involved in her daughter’s preschool and local groups. Like Caleb, she’s a little bit chronically online — part spreadsheet queen, part meme archivist — and keeps the team organised with a playlist on and a tea in hand.
